Cedar Crossing at Evergreen Walk | South Windsor, CT
In 2022, O’Connell Development Group acquired a premier 5.78-acre parcel located within The Shops at Evergreen Walk (South Windsor, CT) with the goal of developing a high-end multi-tenanted retail complex. Shortly after acquiring the site, ODG secured a long-term land lease with People’s Bank and began the first phase of redeveloping the site in collaboration with its affiliated company Western Builders. In 2023, People’s Bank opened a 2,000 square foot branch while sitework and construction for the remaining planned 10,925 square foot multi-tenanted retail development continued.
As construction moved forward, ODG leased approximately 50% of the development to nationally recognized tenants that include: Chipotle, Starbucks, and Coldstone. The remaining portion of the development was leased to Sally’s Apizza as the New Haven based restaurant continues its expansion across the Northeast. Once completed the development will serve as an amenity and a traffic generator for The Shops at Evergreen Walk.
The anticipated stabilization date for the project is summer of 2026 and the property will be managed by the Appleton Corporation.
